Make it count
Talking with youth about budgeting, debit card use and spending has been made easier with Make it Count, an interactive money mentoring program and resource from the Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA). This program includes a parent’s guide, an instructor’s guide and an online daily budgeting program to engage youth in discussions about money management.

Talking with youth about budgeting, debit card use and spending has been made easier with Make it Count for Instructors, an interactive money mentoring program and resource from the Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA).

This program provides an instructor’s guide, activities, tips and lesson plans to help instructors incorporate youth money management into your course of instruction. Virtually every subject offers opportunities to expose students to money management situations.

Rather than competing for valuable teaching time, Make it Count can enhance mandated curricula with engaging and practical real-life examples such as budgeting, earning money, and recognizing scams that promote understanding and hone decision-making skills.
