Our partnership with Toronto Star provides Ontario teachers of grades 4-12 with:
- A set of 10 Toronto Star newspapers for the classroom, every day (Monday to Friday), for two weeks during a specified time period
- A curriculum-based teaching kit to develop financial literacy skills
Copies of all the teaching kits developed are available for download:
- All About Money – three cross-curricular kits were developed to provide teachers with strategies and practical entry points to help students gain financial knowledge and skills. The activities can be used to meet curriculum expectations, critical thinking and character development initiatives.
- The Smart Consumer: Money Management Kit-activities in the kit help students to explore various career options to help them achieve their desired style, cost of education and training including debt repayment, financial issues related to employment, and options for wealth building.Download the kit
