Lorie Haber is a former financial industry executive and corporate and securities lawyer. He has had a diverse career involving a wide variety of responsibilities and experiences in relation to the capital markets.

Between 2001 and 2009, Lorie held a number of executive and management positions at the DundeeWealth Inc. group of companies and at National Bank Financial. Prior to 2001, he practiced corporate and securities law for fifteen years.  He is currently the President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board at Bennett Environmental Inc., and is a Director at Hamilton Capital Partners Inc..

Lorie is a past member of the Securities Advisory Committee to the Ontario Securities Commission and has served as a director and trustee of several public, private and non-profit organizations. Recently, he was a member of the Working Group on Financial Literacy, which provided the Government of Ontario and the Ontario Curriculum Council with recommendations for including financial literacy education in the province’s junior and senior schools. He was also a member of the Ontario Advisory Group to Improve Economic and Financial Education in Ontario.

Lorie holds a B.A. (Hons) in Political Science from the University of Toronto and an LL.B from Osgoode Hall Law School of York University.
