An educator, experienced entrepreneur, published author, active investment industry participant and committed philanthropist, Paul is a champion of numerous investor education initiatives in academic, regulatory, corporate and non-profit arenas.
Paul is Special Advisor to the President of McMaster University and former Dean of the Degroote School of Business at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. He is a former Adjunct Professor at the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management. He serves on and/or chairs numerous Boards of Directors in both the for-profit and not-for-profit sectors.
A veteran of the Canadian investment industry, Paul was recognized by Investment Executive Magazine in 2000 as Canada's most influential broker of the year. In 2002 Paul received the Queen's Jubilee Medal for community service, and in 2003 Paul received an Outstanding Teacher Award from the Rotman School of Management, together with an Arbor Award from the University of Toronto.
